Bin 11: Math & Coding
Through hands-on exploration and discovery, this bin encourages children to use early math skills through play. Identify numbers without counting, practice addition and subtraction strategies, or try coding without screens! Recommended for children age 3+.

- Solve word problems involving comparing. Show me 8+6=14, Show me 5+5+4=14
- Geometry–Pattern Blocks
- Sort by shapes, colors
- Combine blocks to make new shapes and patterns. Try numbers and letters, or whatever shape you’d like. Build roads, tracks, bridges and drive on the tiles
- Try stacking blocks to create towers

- Work together or alone to build a variety of maze combinations using the foam mats and coding cards
