
Bin 12: Book Buddies

Featuring the Sesame Street characters, our Book Buddies bin has a variety of PBS KIDS books as well as cuddly, stuffed “buddies” for children to read with. Plus this bin features a puppet theater to bring story time to life! Recommended for children age 3+.

Do Together
Ideas for how to use this bin:
- Choose a Book:
- Pick a book you want to read with your Book Buddy. Does your Book Buddy like the same books as you?
- Reading Time:
- Find a cozy spot to read with your Book Buddy. Take turns reading pages or looking at pictures together.
- Story Exploration:
- What’s happening in the story? Talk about it with your Book Buddy. Can you guess what might happen next?
- Act it Out:
- Pretend to be the characters in the book.
- Use your Book Buddy to act out parts of the story.
- Draw a picture of your Book Buddy with the book you read.
- Create a new adventure for your Book Buddy. What happens in the story?
