Do Together

Ideas for how to use this bin:

  • Superhero Rescue Mission: Set up a “rescue mission” scenario where the children take on the roles of superheroes and need to rescue stuffed animals from a “tall building” or stop a villain.
  • Community Helpers: Set up different “stations” representing community helpers. Children can rotate through the stations, wearing the appropriate vest or helmet for each role and performing tasks such as treating patients, putting out fires, or solving problems.
  • Emergency Rescue Drill: Simulate an emergency rescue drill where kids take on the roles of emergency responders. The teacher can create scenarios like a fire or a car accident that children must respond to. Children can pretend to be firefighters, paramedics, or police officers, using their gear to “rescue” dolls or help each other in an imaginary emergency.

  • How does it feel to wear this costume?
  • What kind of story can we make up with these costumes?
  • What tools or props do you need to complete your role?
  • What happens next in your story?
  • Can you tell me about the adventure your character is going on?
